People's Parliament
The Lewisham People's Parliament is a chance for people with learning disabilities to tell the bosses what they want.
Members of the Parliament are called MPs.
The Parliament meets once every 3 months, at Lewisham Town Hall.
We tell people what happened,
in easy read reports called
Our Shout.
The MP's Big Group
The MP's BIG Group meets once a month, on a Friday.
It is a chance for people to talk about what is important to them.
The MP's BIG Group plans what to do at the Parliament meetings.
If you have a learning disability and you live in the Borough of Lewisham, you are welcome to the Parliament and the MP's Big Group.
They are chosen by people with learning disabilities in elections.
It is where the MP's listen to other people with learning disabilities.
The MP's listen to find out what people say
and what people want.
